Bought these for a costume. Found them to be difficult to wear and the actor complained of having sore feet while wearing them. (Had the exact same complaints from actors who were wearing the taller version of this boot too!) In-soles did not help.

Not the most comfortable shoe i’ve ever owned, but it is quite durable, and my feet don’t hurt at the end of the day. I wore these to the MN Renaissance Festival three times, and they still look new. Slightly darker than pictured, and difficult to get on properly, but all in all, I am very surprised at how high quality these are, especially since I got them online.

A bit tight for my wide foot. Definitely a snug fit. The knot/tie mechanism was a little troublesome (or perhaps, I’m not doing it right). Great for my RenFaire attire.

We ordered these boots because my husband is appearing in a local community theater play and needed something for his Shakespearean costume. He took them to be approved by the woman in charge of wardrobe, and she liked them so much she asked him to order a pair for her husband, also an actor in the play. They both find the boots comfortable and nice looking and are quite happy with them.

Well they were supposed to be a size 8 US. I am a 7.5 and figured with thick wool socks these would still be ok but these fit my dad who is a 10. That is the most frustrating part. Even with thick wool socks my feet are swimming in these. The label says small but they are not.As for the craftsmanship and material, it isn’t great but I didn’t expect anything more than costume quality. The stitching looks nice and I’m sure they’d hold up for a few occasions but not for any kind of frequent activity. They look the part as well.

The soles are pretty thin so if you are going to a faire or something similar outdoors, get an insert. They look nice and were pretty comfortable.

These are not terrible. They are on par with no-name shoes often found at walmart or other budget shoe locations. They will be nice for light renfair or costume parties.
