nice times. Easy and quick. I’m a 5’6 male. Fit well. I used the plastic air bags that came as packaging in the box from Amazon to stuff the head. If you are feeling especially motivated, you can take a razor blade to make a slight tear in the fabric in order to stuff the dorsal fin in back too. I did that, but it was a crowded a party & my dorsal fin was constantly banging into people. Which was kind of funny. This costume was funny and fun, and got a lot of compliments. It’s hot though. I was sweating. Hang it up for a day to let the wrinkles fall out of it. It’s made of some kind of rayon or something. I couldn’t really iron the wrinkles out of it very well, but who cares? Because it’s all a bunch of fabric and it only cost 35 bucks, I didn’t feel too bad putting the whole thing in the garbage can on November 1. Now I don’t have to have this extra thing in my life hanging around that I may or may not ever use again. I would recommend this for someone who’s lazy and just wants to buy something that’s not too extravagant but will get lots of reactions from people. Of course you’re limiting your peripheral vision. But you’re not completely obscuring your face, which I like. You have to still be able to recognize your friends at the costume party right? I guess the ultimate disappointment would be if another shark showed up in the same costume. Then you might feel like a boob. But that didn’t happen to me.

I actually bought this about a year and a half ago but forgot to leave a review. I’ve worn this costume on SEVERAL occasions, and everyone (including myself) always absolutely loves it. I can say that it’s been through the ringer – tons of parties and other odd events, and its condition is as nice as the day I got it. It holds up really well.Tips:- I stuffed the head, dorsal, and tail fins with polyester filling (you can pick up a bag of this at any sewing/ craft store or even Walmart in the sewing section) to keep them filled out. It’s pretty lightweight and doesn’t compact over time when used in this.- I also found that wearing a baseball hat underneath with the bill sticking out the front really helps keep it in place (I wear a red one so it just kind of looks like a tongue/ part of the mouth).- I’m 5′ 5.5″, and it fits me fine. The front comes to my mid-shin.Oh, and this baby also won me 1st place for funniest costume at my company’s Halloween party.

I bought this as a Halloween costume for my Alaskan Malamute, Henry. With a few alterations (ripping up the front/belly seam from the bottom hem to the base of the head, shortening and stuffing the flippers, stuffing both fins and the head, and shortening the neck a little bit so the head wouldn’t fall down over his eyes), it fit much better than and was comparably priced to any of the so-called “XXL” doggie costumes. Silly, yes, but worth it for the laughs.

Went as baby shark family and hubby picked this. He’s 6’2” and XL. Costume fit but wasn’t a comfortable fit. It’s a warm costume. Definitely take the advice to stuff the eyes with plenty of bags or newspapers otherwise they just flop. Mouth let’s you see and breath but you may be munching a bit on shark teeth. The sleeves are long as you can cover your hands in the “fins” or pull them out via a opening in the wrist. Costume pulls over your head with no zippers or buttons. Hubs didn’t like the costume overall but entirely not the fault of the costume. Worth the risk.

I was concerned that the costume may not fit, since it’s more of a one size fits and typically costumes are made small, but luckily it’s actually made oversized. I bought this for no particular reason at all. It just made me laugh when I saw it, so I wanted it. I’ve worn it out for Halloween and other random moments and people crack up when they see it. The eyes are so ridiculous. Expect that you’ll need to pad the hammerhead so it stands up better, I used some paper towel rolls and some packing things (like the air packs) I had from other Amazon purchases. If you like making people smile, you’ll want this costume. Plus it’s inexpensive!

I loved it, it was a hit. I ended up customizing this bc I felt it was snug for me but I’m also not a small person. I wish that the head and fins had been stuffed or something so I did that myself. Fun costume overall, a little pricey though considering it needed customization

This shark costume is absolutely hilarious! Fits great too, fairly breathable material but will get hot after running around in it for a while. I chose this variation of the shark cause the eyes on the hammerhead are just hilarious. I got so many compliments during Halloween wearing this thing. Everyone will definately get a kick out of this.

Great durable costume! Just stuff the head, fins and tail with paper or bubble wrap to fill them out.Garnered tons of attention at the beach and Costco. (It’s quite warm).Fits both my chubby 5’7″ body and my son’s 6’5″ lanky one. We bought four different shark costumes for the Sharkbots robotics team… this is my favorite!

Tried it on briefly before Halloween. I’m 6′-4″ so I’ll be the tallest hammerhead in town because it extends at least another foot above my head.No cutouts for your hands, so difficult to type or drink. You will need to fill the head, fin, and tail because they are a bit flacid. Can’t wait for shark week.

This hammerhead shark outfit is hilarious. I’m doing a Halloween costume surf session with some friends and am wearing this out in the water. Make sure to stuff the fins and head (I used blown-up ziplock bags). The dorsal fin requires opening up and closing some stitches, but it’s easy enough to stuff if you have a basic sewing kit.Sizing wise, I am 5’11” and it fits well! Thankfully holes are cut out already for your hands, otherwise the arms would be too short.Have fun with this derpy and fun hammerhead shark outfit!
