I bought this makeup for my Halloween costume, it comes in a dry pressed powder and you just add water to it and paint it on. I used a foundation brush it worked better than using a sponge. The paint spreads easily and is long lasting. I did have to do two coats to get full coverage without streaks. Once it dries the paint stays on perfectly and doesn’t even rub off on clothing for the most part. It also washes off very easily with Soap and warm water.

I used this, along with the Mehron white makeup setter, and it was wonderful! Every year I do my makeup for halloween. It was easy to use, I didnt have to use a whole lot to get the coverage I needed, it washed off easily, and didnt clog my pores or feel heavy when i wore it. I suggest wetting a makeup brush and spreading it that was. So easy. The biggest problem i have had in the past is the makeup I have used starts to flake, I sweat through it, and it starts to run. Well, this is the first year I didn’t have any of those problems, and I know its because I decided to try the Mehron makeup line. I will NEVER us any other kind of costume makeup again!

I love these face paints. The behave like water color paints. They dry down nicely on the skin and do not crack. I used them to paint my son’s face for Halloween as jiminey Cricket. He was happy he could itch his face throughout the evening without ruining the makeup.

I bought this for Halloween since I was going for a pin-up zombie look. I think I chose the wrong color, but this product was impressive. It was easy to use with a foundation brush that I dipped into a bit of water. It’s definitely buildable too. I have super sensitive skin and have eczema but this did not irritate my skin at all. I was worried about how much would remain after removal but I used two olay cleansing wipes to take off the make up, and it was easy to remove. I would definitely recommend or get this again for other costume make up needs.

I’m used to creme theatrical foundations, but this did a pretty nice job with coming out as the color I want as well as blending. HOWEVER, there is some sheer to it. Add a little water as you go and be cautious with layering/blending. If you end up with spots, add enough water to make a thick consistency, lightly add with your finger the spots, and lightly blend with your sponge of choice(I used real techniques and wet n wilds blending sponges). I also had to mix both white and purple to get Ursula’s lavender skin and this face paint acts like clay so it took some time to blend the different colors. After blending, set the new color in the fridge for 2 to 3 hours to set. I give it 5 stars for doing a pretty nice job at blending and covering my face, but I advise you guys to take your time when applying it. Have patience and you’ll love the outcome~.

I cannot praise this makeup enough. Because I was short on time I wasn’t sure how to apply it and wa surprised it was a powder, quickly I figured to wet it and it became very easy to apply as I assume this is how it was meant to ne used and apply. I didn’t have any applicators so I used my fingers so spread the green makeup onto my face and hands. I wasn’t sure how it would turn out but when I tell you the amount of compliments I received were plentiful those words don’t do it justice. I had ppl asking for photos and kids scared of me. It was impressive especially because of how rushed I was in applying it.The makeup really doesn’t even transfer and dries quickly. I wore a witches hat and the makeup rubbed off a bit after time but overall was impressive. Taking it off, I used an oil based makeup remover and it came off easily even from inside my ear. Very very easy and highly recommend

It coated on thin but with many layers didn’t smooth out but became cakey, like you have to apply it super fast or it won’t look nice because it’s water activated and dries quickly. There were no directions with the product so maybe it was user error but 🤷‍♀️ I saw someone who used this product on light blue not white and it looked phenomenal so I wanted to try it out. It got the job done but it came off easily when eating. So hey I’ll give it that. Setting spray helped it not get on clothes but it definitely washes out easy at least. So I guess I don’t have to worry about oil stains since it’s water based.

The shade “brilliant blue” was perfect to turn me into Sally from Nightmare before Christmas for Halloween!The amount of product was enough to do half face when I tested it and then full face, neck and both arms the day when I dressed up. With just enough leftover for small touch ups.When I figured out the best brush to spread it and the right amount of water, it went on smoothly, covered my skin perfectly, was flattering and didn’t transfer on my costume. It was easy to draw the stitches with an eyeliner on top of it when dry.Then it washed off super easily.I’m glad I went with a real face paint instead of cheaper alternatives, it really made my costume stand up.I just wished there was a little more product for the price, but it’s a refill to go in a multi pan so I guess I should have expected that and the quality was worthy for sure.

Let me start by saying that I have used Mehron’s oil-based makeup in the past and it was an absolute pleasure to work with. This stuff, however, was a total let-down.I purchased a green “refill” to use for my son’s halloween costume. Bad idea.It was a nightmare trying to dissolve this onto an applicator with water and apply it to his skin. The item itself is pretty tiny (smaller than a couple of stacked half-dollars). It took a remarkable amount of effort to dissolve enough of it to get anything other than the faintest hint of color and I ended up dripping it all over the place. The color also goes on very streaky and runny.After about 15 minutes, all I had to show for my efforts was a big mess and a crying child with a few splotches of barely noticeable green on his face and hands.Now, perhaps in the hands of a professional, this might be a great product. I’m sure it has its uses. Personally, though, I think it was a total waste of my time and money. It’s going in the garbage. I suggest using the oil-based product.

Genial, cuando lo destape pensé… Wow es demasiado poco no me va alcanzar pero es espectacular, rinde bastante, fácil de aplicar con la espuma mojada y toques suaves en la piel y lo mejor es q en el transcurso del día no se corre, si saludas de beso en la mejilla no untas a nadie me pareció lo máximo ademas que es super fácil de limpiar, con un palito húmedo en la primera pasada te cae de una. Genial lo pediré en muchos colores para tener en casa.

My husbands costume came with a hideous mask so we needed to paint his face and this was *chefs kiss*. Apply it with some water and its easy to take off

I gave it 5 stars for sheerness even though it is not transluscent at all, because this makeup rocks! It covers the way it is supposed to without being cakey. It looked as nice at the end of the day as it did when I put it on.

This color worked perfect for painting my daughters face for Halloween. Add a little water and use a brush and it glides perfect on your skin. Easy to remove as well.
