Super wrinkled, tried to steam it in shower, didn’t work that well. Cheap material, makes kid’s hair static. The bottom “lip” of shark kept fording out, looked all wrong. 5 yo didn’t want to wear it. I donated it to thrift store. Overall a big waste of time and money.

Way too small. I bought the largest size, 4-6x. My 5 yo wears child size 5-6 clothes, so I thought this would be perfect. The bottom comes mid thigh on him, and the arms are too short, so he HAS to put his hands out in order to wear it. It’s also really tight. It’s a cute costume and it seems well made, including the head insert that keeps it elevated so it doesn’t fall over the kid’s eyes. It just is WAY small. I would put this on my 3 yo in 4t-5t clothes. Not child size 5.

Pretty much as described. Ironed out the creases. Stuffed the tail and sewed up a rough little patch on the inside to hold it all in, slit open the dorsal fin (from the inside) and stuffed & sewed it shut. The head/nose cavity pouch thing unfortunately doesn’t close up completely inside, so I stuffed a bag up into it, and then stuffed that full of bags. Looks pretty cute after 60 minutes of fixing up.

It was fine and my son LOVED it but it was a cheap Halloween costume. Not of nice quality. Just a typical store bought Halloween costume you’d find in a Halloween store.

My son wore this for Halloween this year. It was a huge hit. Sizing was great (size 5 for my avg sized 5 year old), and since we live in a cold climate, it was nice to have a costume that he could easily wear a coat under. I had to steam it before wearing as it was pretty wrinkled from shipping – was no problem though. The tail wagged a bit when he walked which was hilarious. The ONLY downside to this costume was the number of people who felt compelled to sing “Baby shark, doo doo doo doo doo doo” when they saw him. That song was stuck in my head for days.

This is a really cute costume. Just so you know what you’re getting, it comes all folded up and flat with directions to steam the wrinkles out and stuff it with tissue paper in order to make it look like the picture. Not a big deal to me. Size seems pretty accurate, too. My son wears a 6 and he fits perfect but certainly won’t be able to wear it next year.

The mouth was sewn incorrectly. My son put the costume on and the mouth was completely sewn shut and his face wasn’t visible. I had to cut the opening so it would be functional. He also complains about how itchy it is around the inside of the mouth. I’m going to have to do a bit of sewing to make this be tolerable for him to wear for several hours on Halloween.

The fabric is a little cheap for what you spend but and you gotta stuff the head and tail but for one Halloween it worked great and my son loved it
