My kids wanted the whole family to dress as bats this year and I originally selected these Leg Avenue costumes because they have this costume in both kid sizes and adult sizes all the way up to 4X to accommodate my husband. These costumes are excellent. As other reviewers mention, they are basically a hoodie so this may have been the easiest Halloween ever! They are long enough to cover the bum so my daughter and I wore leggings and my son and husband wore black sweatpants. The hoodies are really well made so my kids are just wearing them as super cute hoodies now. Win!

My daughter likes this costume because it is basically a fleece jacket with wings. We added glow in the dark glitter glue to the edges and spines of the wings so they would show up better. I bought the glow in the dark glitter glue from Hobby Lobby. Just be warned, if you need to wash it the glitter glue washes off. It’ll be warm at least if Halloween is as cold as last year. Fits her a little big but room for clothes underneath.

Very cute, nice material, well made, definitely for cold Halloween nights. My only complaint is the sleeves are pretty short. My daughter is 7, slightly tall for her age, but not that much. I ordered a large (10/12) because I wanted her to be able to wear it beyond this year, but the sleeves don’t come to her wrists. She didn’t care, she loves it and will probably wear it everyday until she can no longer zip it up, but no way an 8 year old would be able to wear a large, let alone a 10 to 12 year old.

This product is well made and the shape looks great. The part of wings are double layered but the hood, body and sleeves are single. My 6 year old daughter is 44″ tall and fits in 6T but depending on brand she wears also 5T or 7T. I read some reviews said this costume runs small, so I purchased large size. It was big for her a little as I expected. The sleeves covered her palms but fingers stick out. She loves it because she loves long sleeves. The hem comes to around her knees but I didn’t think it look too big for her. I am satisfied with my purchase.

I actually just returned this. Daughter was obsessed with being a bat for Halloween, but suddenly wants to be Peppa instead. The costume is well made, and decently thick. Older daughter just turned 3, and the XS fit her perfectly. Tried it on my 16 month old also, and it wasn’t terribly huge on her; sleeves were a little long and it obviously came down further on her. I was pretty excited to put the glow in the dark sparkly glue on it, it’s a shame she changed her mind!

Exactly what other reviewers are saying: very nice! It’s essentially a thick, warm hoodie, with padded ears that stick out well. My 6 year old daughter said she wanted to be a bat for halloween, and I came across this. She LOVES it! I’m hoping to find this in Adult size so I can wear one! (^ – ^) A+++(She’s an average size 6, and got her a child’s Medium. Arm length is nice and the overall length comes past her bum. Hope that helps!)

This costume fit my daughter perfectly. It was made well and was very warm for our cold Halloween night. Something I was concerned about since it was made of fleece was fuzz balls forming/attaching all over it. I’m happy to say this has been worn and washed many times (my daughter insists on using it as an everyday hoodie now) and it is still fuzz free. I cut up some tights to match the girl in the picture and it turned out really cute. I’ll upload a pic from my phone later.

The cutest costume in the universe! I love it and how warm it was for my tiny squish on the chilly autumn night this past Halloween. I have my own version of this that I purchased a few years prior, which is well-loved and both Mommy and baby bat were comfortable for hours with this a light shirt and leggings. Also with noting: I’m a firm believer in wash before you wear and have washed both my daughters and mine in cold water, gentle cycle, hang dry only. Everything holds up well.
