This “rose red” creme rouge looks like it would be clown-makeup, but what you are seeing is a high level of pigments. It looks very natural when applied very sparingly. I have found that a dab of this cheek color on the lips with lip balm on top works great and lasts quite well. (I did not like any of their lip colors.)As nice as any department store brand at about 1/8th the cost. Lasts a LONG time.Mehron is known for theater makeup, but come to find out, they also have a full range of cosmetics. They have primers, mascara, foundation, lip pencils, eyeliner, the works!Getting the right color online is tricky, but the prices are low enough that you can afford to order a few to test them and not be out any more money than if you had gone to Nordstroms.I am happy. This is an old company and they know a thing or two.
