I purchased this set along with the 30-color sampler by Mehron. In combination, they are a very diverse set with enough colors to paint almost any type of image. The quality of this make-up/paint is very nice as I saw this used by a face-painter at a museum who was also an art student. They recommended the brand and set and said that for the price/quality, it is a nice investment. The set is a high grade paint/make-up that is so much better than paints you find in regular retail stores, which may dry-up and are difficult to use. It is also water-based and very easy to clean up and wash off (simply use soap and water, darker colors may require a more thorough rinse). Having used this now for about a month, I would definitely agree (Please see by review of the 30-paint set). This little case is thin and portable and even comes with a brush (slightly wide tip for broad applications, as well as a mirror under the cover). This is a convenient touch as I use both sets and don’t need to carry so much, other than the brushes and a water bowl. The colors are very intense and even in distribution. These colors also do not rub off so easily and can withstand a whole oday of wearing, with minor touch-ups. My kids like to choose the colors of their images, bases, and this set adds to their choices. We are very happy with the quality and purchase and will continue to use these paints/make-up.

Love the colors, takes only a little water to activate, nice small carrying case is very nice for storage and travel. They smell great – from the cocoa butter this paint uses. Colors go on smoothly, easy to work with. You can do line work, but best for base work, stencils, and such. Washed off easily. Seller delivered promptly – I believe I bought this through Prime, so it was only a couple business days.

This is an extremely nice product. I covered my entire face in green but it was August so it slid off my face within an hour. After a slow reapplication, it stayed on well into the night (at least 11 PM) and I really had to fight with it to get it off. It’s very comfortable to wear at room temperature all day long and didn’t cake or anything.It does stain as others have warned. You will need something soft to wipe your face vigorously, and baby wash. Baby wash works wonders to get this off and is gentle enough for children. Make sure you budget in time because it took me at least half an hour to get my face clean (again, with full coverage.) I would also recommend Lancome eye makeup remover around the eyes!

These paints work really well; color coverage is very nice. This selection of colors is a nice supplement to the basic palette, as it saves you from having to mix colors to make pink, purple, light blue, etc. I was able to use these colors all day to run a face painting booth at my child’s school, and didn’t even come close to using them up.

I bought this palette because I had a similar basic colored one from Halloween 2 years ago and I needed the purple and blue shades this palette has for this year.I love the colors, and the quality of the product is just fine except it arrived with a broken mirror! The minute I opened it shreds of glass fell all over my kitchen floor which I had to spend 20 minutes to clean because they were pretty small, honestly if Halloween wasn’t tomorrow and I was not in the mood to stand an hour in line at a costume store to get colors that are probably out of stock by now anyway… I would’ve returned it.This makes me sad / angry

I bought this in conjunction with the the basic color palette. Shipped Fast. Great product. I bought it for Halloween for an upgrade from the usual grease make up at the store. SO worth the extra pennies. Goes on smooth. Washes off easily. I did a full coverage in white with pink and black accents.

Great buy!! This was on sale when I bought it for around $10. These paints work great. Every year on one of the last days I help paint all the kids faces at school.

This is one of the best face paint palettes I have used. I have several from other brands and none compare to Mehron’s pigments, blendability and smooth finish. attractive colors and elegant packaging.

After reading many reviews, i decided to get this palette along with another Paradise (basic and pastel kits). I ordered these so I could practice before Halloween. I got many ideas online for my design, and the kids got MANY compliments. People couldn’t believe i didn’t go to the zoo to get them professionally painted. The paint is smooth, easy to work with, and washes off easily. My children’s skin is more sensitive than mine, and didn’t react at all (and they wore it for many hours). The thing i like MOST about this brand is it is made in the USA!!! If that is something that matters to you, i would order some ASAP, in case they follow suite of all these other companies and start making it in China. I get so nervous about the chemicals they use outside of the US, and I like that people HERE have jobs because of companies like this one. Makeup is one of our last “made in USA” things we have, and even makeup is leaving consumers to “vote” whether they care, bc i have seen lots of makeup (even some prestige brands)made in China now:(I also like the color range i got from the two kits i ordered, there are plenty of designs i could do with this. The makeup seems to stay on really well. I used sponges (hair rollers actually) for my base layer or circles, mixed with a little water, then various tipped paintbrushes. I watched utube videos for techniques. If you make a mistake, it’s easy to correct with this paint. I would definately stick with the Paradise brand makeup palettes for face painting for a professional look, even if you are a beginning painter!

I bought these face paints because I have recently begun doing different character and face makeup things and I was not getting the right coverage with just my eyeshadows. I saw a YouTuber using these and decided I would try them out. They work very well; you mix them with a small amount of water and they become creamy. They spread evenly and opaque on the skin, and they did not irritate my face at all. They smell a little like coconut. The colors washed off fairly easily; I tried just soap and water to begin with and it worked ok, but then I took a makeup remover wipe and that took it off with no problem.
