It would’ve been really nice to know that these were costume boots before I bought them. Also, they don’t really stay closed. Like, at all. The strap system is strange and confusing, and I’m going to have to put my own closures on it to make it work for anything other than sedate walking for short periods of time. I ordered them a size bigger because I figured (rightly) that they’d be very narrow. They’re still too narrow. Only redeeming quality is the price, and the fact that, when fixed, they’ll look pretty nice. If you want a DIY set of boots for real cheap, grab these. Otherwise, spend a bit more on some real boots.
