Hilarious and a great costume for our Little Mermaid family costume. The “crown” was smooshed and never recovered but other than that, it suited our needs.

We filmed a short video at the local marina to promote a crab feed fundraiser. I wore the costume and did some silly stuff for the camera. Before, after and in between takes, people were coming up to us wanting to take pictures. I kinda felt like one of those costumed characters at Disneyland or amusement parks.This costume is very nice & fun. It looks exactly like the picture. The bottom legs are held together with what looks to be some fishing line so you should be careful not to accidentally break these.

I am in an electric wheelchair and needed a crab outfit for a musical number. The crab costume picture looked like, when standing, that the bottom runs just below the waist. It does and fit just great for person who sits all day. I was a hit with the audience, both young and old. My son, who teaches fifth grade, is excited that he now doesn’t need to come up with a costume to wear for his class Halloween Party and parade!

Kids in the neighborhood all enjoyed this King crab costume as I doled out candy this year and it also went over extremely well at a costume party. Just enough ridiculous and silly to make for an impressive costume. I am 6 feet tall and slender, I found it comfortable but I had to be careful not to knock things over with my extra arms. The best part about this costume is that the claws are open so you can hold a drink using your human hands.

I let my 3 and 6 year old daughters pick my Halloween costume this year and this is what they chose. In my experience, these types of costumes are normally junk….but this King Crab costume seems to be pretty nice quality.It gives me an irritated feeling on my head do to the odd nature of the design, but that’s to be expected with something like this. We have a few parties to attend this year and two trick-or-treat events as well, so I’m sure I’ll get some valuable use out of it.I am a bit concerned about having to wear it for over two hours.The only cons:- The crown is very limp and does not stand up…I’ll probably just use some cardboard cutouts to keep it up- There are a few loose threads all around the costume, but I plan to take care or those before they become a bigger issueAll things considered: Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

My son absolutely loved this costume for Halloween. It was a bit big for him, but that was expected as this was the adult version and he is a tall pre-teen. All his friends loved it also, and as people sometimes thought he was a crab, sometimes a lobster, he very pleased in calling himself a ‘crobster’ for the day.

I took a bit of a risk purchasing this costume; you never know what you’re going to get with these types of things. But in all, it was an extremely nice purchase. I read other reviews where people said it was the hit of the party and they weren’t wrong–we went to an adult-only party and everyone was asking to take pictures of me with them. A few things I changed though, from the picture: I was able to find some bright-orange tights that pretty well matched the crab costume… which only left one issue: I had to find something to cover the ‘private’ area (because the costume ends at the waist)… and thus purchased a little plush starfish, which we then safety-pinned in the proper place. It was a huge hit. Can’t wait to wear it again next year.

This costume was seriously better quality than I expected. It does get very hot though… It is kind of like wearing a plastic bag, in that it doesn’t breath, so it heats up quickly. Overall lots of people commented on how cool the costume was and I would recommend this crab suit for sure.
