From the reviews I read, I wasn’t expecting much from this costume, but I figured for the price of it I’d give it a shot. I’m 5’2″, 130lbs, I bought a small and it fits fine. The collar does not stay up on its own at all, but I’m pretty sure I can figure something out to get it to. It’s your typical cheap-y costume material and quality, but for the $30 is cost me, totally worth it. I’ve already modified it quite a bit to what I want it to look like, so the cheapness is actually a pro for me haha. If I can figure out how, I’ll add a photo later of the finished product 😃***just added the photo. You can see that I changed the costume a bit to make it look more like Regina from Oncd Upon a Time. To make the collar stand up I cut out some of the stitching and put a piece of cardboard in and then closed it back up 🙂

The material is decent.The collar doesnt stand up like the picture ahown and it has velcro on oneside but not the other.The size was XL and it was a bit larger than expected which was fine for what we needed it for.The price it wasnt worth the price we paid but it was worth it for what my daughter needed it for.The back side had velcor for the tail it was not attached you have to attach it.

I had to steam it it was wrinkled quite badly. Otherwise super sexy and comfortable to wear.

An extremely nice buy! Expensive but worth it. Sexy but not slutty. Versatile and stylish in on so many levels. Love it!! Oh, it is quite warm and thick material, no it like typically cheap costume fabric.

The sash doesnt stay on whatsoever and the fin- collar does not stay up AT ALL. It would literally fall flat and it was tragic because that was what made the outfit. I had a friend try to prop it with wire and it still flopped down. I do not recommend this costume becausetwo of the major defining pieces fall off or fall down too easily.

Sleeves were very itchy. Dress was super short my Butt hung out the bottom luckily I had legging on. Runs small.

The design of this costume is nice but the quality of the material is off.The velveteen fabric is nice but the ribbon-front closure is so cheaply made, that the ribbon falls apart when you close it the first time. Changing the lace up ribbon is easily fixable.The bodice needs structure, either boning or bustier material (like the Roma Costume Pirate Queen, the bodice is perfect and very structured on that one) to make it better.These are simple fixes that the manufacturer should have caught. I’m not sure I want to spend the time to fix this, it’s easily fixed, probably easier than mailing it back, sigh.

Wasn’t worth the money I’m returning it… the tulle underneath is really scratchy and painful to wear. And the dress was coming apart at the seems straight out of the package

The neck of the costume does not stand up like the photo. Otherwise, the outfit is cute!

I’d say this costume is only OK. It’s decent looking. The material is fine. It does however run quite large. Definitely order a size down. Unfortunately if you usually wear a small you’re out of luck as it doesn’t come in an extra small. The collar does not stand up AT ALL. It is made so you can wear it with a cape or a bustle type thing. The trouble with that is when you wear it as either it leaves exposed Velcro at the other site. Overall, this costume is not great. You get what you pay for I’m afraid. If your not obsessed with Halloween (as I am) you’d probable wouldn’t find much fault with this. If you’re expecting it to look or fit as it does in the picture you will be disappointed I’m afraid.
