Alright so I ordered this outfit for Santacon this year, and figured I’d give my feedback to people who are like me and always check the reviews. First off, it’s not as bad as everyone says it is. I read all the reviews and decided to order it anyway because I liked the fluffy fur trim on everything and couldn’t find a similar costume elsewhere. If it was bad as everyone said, I was going to return it and settle for a different costume from party city, but I’m keeping it. The belt, velvet and fit of the jacket were all nice in my opinion (the jacket a little big, but can be adjusted with the belt so no big deal, I like the way it looks.) The fur trim, much like everyone else said, was bare in some spots but not noticeable unless you’re examining it, and where it was a problem on mine, my hair would be covering it. It looks like a the fur you see on all santa hats with fluffy fur. What I found to be a problem was the hat… it’s unusually small, not like a santa hat you’d try on in a drug store or costume store where they fit just right somehow. It’s snug, but not unwearable. Also the boot cuffs were very small. They didn’t fit around the top of my leather boots, so I have NO idea how they’d fit around above someone’s knee as shown in the picture… I improvised and smushed my boots down and wrapped them around there and it was fine. There was a long string hanging from the bottom of my costume, and the velcro doesn’t stay closed very well, but safety pins would do the trick. I read all of the reviews and was expecting this though, so I didn’t really mind. I’m still gonna use the costume, but definitely KNOW what you’re buying when purchasing this. If you’re looking for a santa jacket, I’d advise looking elsewhere, but if you like that fur trim like I did, I’d suggest getting this despite the minor not so great details because you can improvise on it and not look like a mess.

This is the most poorly made outfit I have ever purchased. The outfit looks nothing like the photo, the fur is cheap and it looks awful. The material is equally as thin and flimsy. Fur is not sewn at the edges like most outfits I have bought but is stitched directly over the material with the edge showing. This company ought to be dropped by amazon

I got a small and fits as expected its tight on me but that’s what I wanted!. It has two velcro strips to close it up and that is not cute when they are closed. The belt is SUPER cheap but that doesnt matter. The hat is cheap cheap cheap and does not fit but I bobby pinned it to my wig and it worked fine!

I don’t usually go for sexy costumes, but this past winter, I participated in a Santa-themed bike race around the holidays. The length of this robe/dress was just right, to wear it with some leggings and keep it from getting caught in my bike wheels. I bought it big enough to go over a light jacket, and I really looked great, and fit right in with the rest of the Santa riders.

This was a little big but I went up a size worried it would be to small, so sizing is correct. It did not come with a belt?? The quality is poor but ok for the one use of having some fun. The Velcro is split up where it has gaps and doesn’t close very nice. It’s cheap material but I know nice costumes cost a nice $50-100, so to me it was an ok purchase. It definitely does not look like or fit like the girl on the front. lol

Truthfully, I gave the negative reviews the benefit of the doubt since there were many that claimed this was a nice product. It honestly looks nothing like it does in the picture posted on here and on the bag it came in. It was way too small and very cheaply made. It was very itchy, way too light and the material was shedding. For $35, it was very disappointing and I am in the process of returning…

I’m pretty sure this was my husband’s favorite gift. 2 months later and he’s asking asking for Christmas to come early. extremely nice quality for the price. I will be keeping this. This could be used as a costume, just be aware it may be short depending on your height. So depending on the party you may want to wear pants under it. The jacket is so cute I would wear it to a company Christmas party. However, I would wear it with pants. 10 years ago I would wear it as a dress to a Halloween party as is!
